what time does crawford fight

“I don’t think there’s anyone I’ve fought who’s similar to Terence Crawford. His style is different from anybody else. I don’t think Sugar Ray Leonard fought anyone like Tommy Hearns until he fought Tommy, and vice versa. That’s what happens in these historic fights.”

Spence vs. Crawford will be on July 29, the same day as UFC 291. The main card starts at 8 p.m. ET | 5 p.m. PT | 1 a.m. BST | 10 a.m. AEST. The main event should start around 11:30 p.m. ET. | 8:30 p.m. PT | 4:30 p.m. BST | 1:30 p.m. AEST, depending on how long the undercard fights last.

The Porter matchup is an opportunity for Crawford to get that signature victory in the division that his résumé is missing. For Porter, this is a chance to regain the title against a pound-for-pound fighter, and show he's still one of the best fighter at 147 pounds.

A fight with IBF, WBC, and WBA champion Errol Spence Jr. is always on his mind. 2022 was thought to be the year they would clash, but that was not the case. A free agent, Crawford is not represented by any top promotion and will attempt to book the Spence fight himself.

“I always said I wanted to retire at 33,” Crawford said on The Good Fight with Kate Abdo, via Boxing Scene. “I did, I wanted to retire at 33 but here I am at 35 still going. I just love the sport. I just feel like I'm still at the top of my game and I really want that Errol Spence fight. I feel like that’s the fight that I really wanted, just to prove a point.”

DAZN and Social Media, 11:30 pm ET, Crawford vs Madrimov weigh-in. That’s the listed time right now on DAZN’s site anyway. Likely a ceremonial weigh-in, which is a growing trend for whatever reason, and they’ll actually be on the scales for real much earlier in the day.

Avanesyan made his debut in 2009. After losing his second pro fight, Avanesyan went on a 22-fight unbeaten streak, going 21-0-1. In 2015 he won the interim WBA welterweight title, but lost it in 2017 against Lamont Peterson. After failing to win the WBC-NABF welterweight title against Egidijus Kavaliauskas, Avanesyan has gone on a six-fight win streak. Avanesyan's last fight was a TKO win against Oskari Metz.

Crawford has consistently held gold for almost a decade. He has captured titles in three weight classes and has already been undisputed at super lightweight. With a deadly arsenal, "Bud" is ready to enhance his legacy and he is fully aware of the magnitude of this bout.

Now, Spence and Crawford are set for their toughest challenge yet, the event that will determine their legacies once and for all. And it's happening because the fighters pushed behind the scenes to finalize the matchup at long last.

Many of the rounds were closely contested, but the American’s experience told in the later frames, securing him scorecards of 116-112, 115-113, 115-113. With the victory, the 36-year-old stayed unbeaten at 41-0 (31 knockouts), while handing Madrimov his first professional loss (10-1-1, 7 KOs).
